Reign FC’s Andrews, Jiménez Delgado Join Perth Glory FC for W-League Season

Reign FC’s Morgan Andrews and Celia Jiménez Delgado will join Australian W-League side Perth Glory FC for the 2019-20 season. Both players will make their W-League debuts with Perth Glory.

One of the founding members of the league, Perth Glory are perennial W-League contenders. The club finished as the Championship runner-up three times in the last five seasons and won the 2014 Premiership, awarded to the best club during the regular season.

Andrews joins Perth Glory for her first W-League season. The midfielder played 604 minutes in nine appearances for Reign FC this season, including seven starts.

Following her first NWSL season, Jiménez Delgado will play her first W-League campaign. The Spanish international made 13 appearances for Reign FC in 2019, including 10 starts and scored the game-winning goal in a road win over rivals Portland Thorns FC on July 5. The defender played in her second Women’s World Cup with Spain over the summer, helping the nation qualify to the knockout rounds for the first time in team history.

Perth Glory FC begins its season on the road against the Canberra United on Saturday, November 16 at 9:00 p.m. PT. Select W-League matches can be seen throughout the season on ESPN+.
