Reign FC W-League Round Up – Week 2
The Australian W-League wrapped up its second week of play on Saturday, November 23. Four Reign FC players saw the pitch for their respective sides.
Darian Jenkins made her second start for Melbourne Victory FC in a 3-2 win over Brisbane Roar FC, playing 81 minutes before making way for Polly Doran.
Lauren Barnes, Steph Catley and Lydia Williams all started for Melbourne City FC in a 2-1 win over Canberra United. Barnes won one tackle and made four interceptions as part of a back line that limited Canberra to one shot on goal. Catley completed 33 of her 42 passes and led both teams with five chances created, while Williams did not record a save in the win.
