OL Reign 2023 NWSL Schedule Announced

The National Women’s Soccer League today unveiled its 2023 schedule, which consists of all 28 matches between the regular season and the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup, 14 games at home and 14 games on the road. The schedule has been formatted to limit the number of regular season games staged during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to ensure the league’s top players are able to compete for both club and country with minimal conflicts.

OL Reign will begin its 11th regular season campaign with a road match on Sunday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. PT against the Washington Spirit at Audi Field. Following the road match against the Spirit, OL Reign will travel to Red Bull Arena to face off against NJ/NY Gotham FC on Saturday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m. PT. After kicking off the season with two road matches, OL Reign will return to Seattle to host San Diego Wave FC for its home opener on Saturday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. PT.

The club’s previously announced 2023 doubleheader with Sounders FC is slated for Saturday, June 3, when OL Reign hosts Portland Thorns FC. As in 2021, next season’s doubleheader is being treated as a single-ticketed event, with one ticket providing access to both games.

Each team will play a total of 11 home matches and 11 road matches throughout the regular season for a total of 22 regular season matches. Six teams will qualify for the NWSL playoffs set to begin in late October with the top two seeds receiving a first-round bye. The quarterfinal round will be played on October 22, followed by the semifinal round, set for November 4. The 2023 season will conclude with the NWSL Championship on November 11.

Additionally, each team will play three home matches and three road matches for the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup, with the club’s first game taking place on Wednesday, April 19 at Angel City FC. Consisting of a six-week tournament from April to September, the Cup will feature three groups of four teams playing double round-robin matches for a total of six contests. Following group play, four teams will square off in semifinal matches on Wednesday, September 6 ahead of the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup Final on Saturday, September 9.

Both the 2023 regular season and the 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup will appear across CBS Sports platforms, including The CBS Television Network, CBS Sports Network and Paramount+. Platform-specific details for all matches and information regarding international viewing will be shared in the coming weeks.

Full Season Ticket Memberships are available with a variety of benefits included from ticket pre-sales to OL Reign Shop discounts. Premium and Group seating options are also now available.
