OL Reign Re-Signs Kristen McNabb Through 2022 Season

OL Reign has re-signed defender Kristen McNabb to a two-year deal, the club announced today. Per league and club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"We are pleased that Kristen will be with us again in 2021,” said OL Reign head coach Farid Benstiti.  “She was an important player for us during the Challenge Cup and Fall Series and we will expect a lot from her this year as well. Her versatility gives me many options and she can help solve many problems. It is good that she has returned and I am very happy to work with her again.”

McNabb started eight of OL Reign’s nine matches in 2020, playing 705 minutes during the Challenge Cup and Fall Series. The defender has made at least 15 appearances in each of her three full seasons with OL Reign, helping anchor a defense that has been among the league’s stingiest in that span.

“I’m really excited to be returning to OL Reign for my fifth season,” said McNabb. “I love the team, the city and the fans. I can’t wait to learn from Farid and the rest of the staff to work toward a successful 2021 season.”
