Player Loan Updates – Week of 11/9

Four OL Reign players out on loan saw time for their respective clubs over the past week. Here’s how their sides fared:

In England, Jess Fishlock started and served up an assist to Reading FC teammate Natasha Harding in the 42nd minute of a 1-1 draw against Everton FC on Saturday.

The Swedish Damallsvenskan season wrapped up last weekend. Lauren Barnes started and played the full 90 minutes for Kristianstads DFF in a 2-1 loss to Linköping FC on Sunday, while Quinn played the full match for Vittsjö GIK in a 3-1 loss to Göteburg FC on Sunday.

Kristianstads (14-5-3, 45 points) finished third on the league table, while Vittsjö (9-9-4, 31 points) finished fifth. Göteburg FC (17-2-3, 54 points) finished at the top of the table, claiming the first league title in the club’s 50-year history.

In France, Darian Jenkins subbed on and played 19 minutes for Bordeaux in a 2-0 win over Le Havre on Saturday.

Celia Jiménez Delgado did not appear for Olympique Lyonnais in the club’s 5-1 win over ASJ Soyaux on Friday.

Due to an ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in Denmark, matches for Machaela George’s Fortuna Hjørring and the rest of the league remain postponed—including the quarterfinal round of the Danish Women’s Cup.
