Megan Rapinoe scored in her 150th appearance for the U.S. Women’s National Team, helping the U.S. to a 5-3 win over Australia April 4. Allie Long appeared as a substitute in both of the U.S. WNT’s matches against Australia and Belgium.
Lydia Williams started in goal and went the full 90 minutes against the U.S. for Australia. Elise Kellond-Knight also started and played 68 minutes for the Matildas. The Football Federation Australia recently finalized one more friendly against the Netherlands, scheduled to be played in Eindhoven June 1 ahead of the start of the Women’s World Cup in France June 7.
Jodie Taylor played 73 minutes for England in a 1-0 loss to Canada at the Academy Stadium in Manchester April 5.
Celia Jimenez Delgado was called in to camp for the Spanish national team but did not appear in their losses to Brazil April 5 or to England April 9.
Jess Fishlock played 90 minutes for Wales in the nation’s first match on home soil since last summer. Wales played to a 0-0 draw with the Czech Republic.
Finally, Theresa Nielsen started and played the full match in a 4-0 loss to fourth-ranked France at the Stade de la Meinau April 8.
